Learning through play

Welcome to the play4learning store!

Our kits are exciting containers filled with themed items, printed activities and specific speech and language tips.

Hours of fun for your child while supporting learning and developing communication skills.

Why choose a play4learning kit?

Every kit has specific strategies and tips to support general speech and language development.

Each kit also contains suggested vocabulary and language concepts that can be modeled and built on at any stage of development.

Sensory based play is an excellent way for children to stimulate all of their senses; touch, smell, taste, sight, hearing, movement and balance. It is a fun way to support brain development as we see children improve their language, fine motor, problem solving, and social skills.

Having a kit with a range of activities around a topic can help build vocabulary. It also allows us to expand on language in many different ways. See handouts made by our Speech Language Therapist at Speech4all to support developing communication skills.

The carefully selected resources in each kit allow for structured learning opportunities and have open-ended play options, encouraging children to unleash their imagination and creativity.

Our kits help foster independence in play and life skills as children learn to set up, pack up and put away their kit.

With a range of different themes we are able to cater to most children’s interests. When we follow a child’s interest they are far more likely to engage, increasing the opportunity to develop language and other new skills.

About Us

Samantha Russell

Store owner

My name is Samantha and I am a mum to two little girls and a Speech Language Therapist at Speech4all. As both a mum and Speech Language Therapist I have always loved the benefits of sensory based play to support communication development. I also know how precious time is and the desire to ensure play is meaningful in supporting our children to develop new skills. Our kits are designed to take minimal time to set up and provide multiple opportunities for learning different skills in preparation for school.
